Important elements to consider when considering home education

You can educate your children as good as, if not better than the public system. Have faith in yourself and your children that they want to learn everything, and by doing it with you they won't be dumbed-down. 

Ask yourself, who taught them how to walk, how to talk, and their values? You did, by example.

If you are interested in your life, take them along with you. Show them how it's done, and what fun it can be on the journey. Teaching is a learning process too, so it becomes a cooperative endeavor, and a life long learning process. 

This doesn't mean that it's going to be easy. But the rewards are priceless, and the victories and celebrations are too.
